What You'll Do:
The Wealth Advisor will primarily be responsible for identifying opportunities in the high-net-worth market segment through direct prospecting, development of centers of influence (both internal and external) as referral sources, and development of networks with other key influencers resulting in new HNW relationships at UMB. The Wealth Advisor will need to educate, advise and profile prospects/clients to develop customized wealth management strategies to meet the prospects/clients needs and objectives. The Wealth Advisor will communicate to a broad range of prospects/clients; deliver top-notch presentations and clearly convey the UMB culture, wealth management issues, investment philosophy, and range of investment and non-investment solutions that are relevant to the prospect/client. Additionally, the Wealth Advisor will need to possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and be able to leverage other team member's strengths in all areas of the sales cycle and relationship management. Must be able to establish rapport, lead the team in prospecting, pipeline management and relationship management of HNW relationships. Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
- 7 or more years success as trust and investment sales to high net worth clients
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Licenses: FINRA Series 65 or 7 and 66 or ability to obtain within 90 days

Preferred Requirements:
- Presentation and communication skills with ability to translate complex strategies into layman/client terms and influence next steps
- Ability to lead, influence and partner with internal team members leveraging strengths, knowledge and expertise

-Strong Profiling Skills, Profiles clients to determine needs and develop a customized plan
-Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills, Can verbalize and breakdown complex strategies in terms prospects/clients understand
-Strong Relationship Management Skills , Seen as advocate in client eyes, is reliable and consistent
