The Director of Transition Management, Global Sales, will collaborate with leaders across the Global Sales function to develop/maintain strategic plans and operational processes that emphasize collective readiness and effective, coordinated activation. This key role will define, develop and execute transition strategies across the Sales organization so that strategic growth priorities and competitive advantages are met. This position will lead a team and work in coordination with management to maintain the broader view of many simultaneous high-visibility and high-impact projects.
Duties and Responsibilities Provide change and business transformation leadership and general direction for the transition management team, driving major business strategies and prioritizing change work across change/transition management team members.
Drives change/transition management efforts within Global Sales and across geographies to enable transition efforts; provides organizational impact assessments; drives stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communication planning, training, and general oversight of transition management efforts.
Manages intake process for incoming change/transition management issues that require risk mitigation and communication; provides management, oversight, and support to Transition Managers within Nike Global Sales.
Drives change framework, change planning, rollout strategy, and adoption with Geographies for change and transformation projects.
Provide oversight, mentoring, and management for Global Sales transition management team members.
Regularly leads cross-functional meetings with business teams, product owners, and geography partners to ensure clarity and alignment for critical business priorities and associated business impacts.
Additional work will include engagement and adoption efforts at the geo level and partnering with upstream and downstream functional areas to facilitate change/transition planning and mitigate risks to end users (e.g., Merchandising and Sales integration, etc.).
A Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Organizational Development or related disciplines. A Masters degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 8 years of specific experience working with change management theory and execution on global project delivery with heavy focus on engagement, communications, readiness and training for multiple concurrent initiatives and/or deployments; 2 - 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
Ability to drive multiple transition management work tracks and measure and report results to executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding of change / transition management principles, stakeholder engagement, communications, business readiness and training.
Expert-level stakeholder engagement and alignment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and active streams of work.
Proven track record of making change stick and driving adoption through realization of business benefits.
Problem-solver and analytical thinker who can fluidly adapt to business challenges while maintaining best practices and standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels, while clearly articulating goals/objectives/vision.
