Primary Purpose This internship opportunity will provide hands-on learning on a variety of video production elements used in a professional sports environment. The purpose of this internship is assisting the production department in asset acquisition, logging, cataloguing and archiving video and audio content. In addition, the intern will assist the production department with editing, animations and video shoots. RESPONSIBILITIES (40 hours per week- Jan. to end of baseball season)
  • Hands-on training with the Adobe Creative Suite and other various video production software.
  • Hands-on training with HD, 4K and RAW cameras: use of RED, Canon and Sony cameras along with Atomos and other external recording devices.
  • Ingestion of footage from shoots. Game highlight retrieval and ingestion of footage from FOX STO. Organization, labeling and tagging of this footage.
  • Regularly contribute ideas during the weekly In-Game entertainment meetings.
  • Scripting graphics, animations and videos into the appropriate scoreboard and digital signage areas.
  • Execute any requests - internal or external - for copies of content. Utilized for proof of performance for corporate partners, fans, other internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as directed by department manager. Requirements, Education & Experience
  • Computer knowledge including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Affects, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Should have a working knowledge of baseball rules and understanding of baseball scoring. Standard Requirements
