The Site Merchandising Intern will execute the strategies that lead to achievement of sales objectives on assigned Footlocker.com e-commerce site(s) through planning & publishing of website content and the successful rollout of various online marketing programs. RESPONSIBILITIES
-Enters website content into the merchandising/publishing module, and deploys to production environment, refreshing content on home and category pages daily & ensuring pricing and product presentation follow proper merchandising guidelines for each assigned site. Monitors product mix to assure brand identity is preserved. -Executes digital content plans in collaboration with eCommerce Marketing Managers, Category Managers, Purchasing, Multi-Channel Marketing, Digital Content Coordinators, etc. to ensure website content and promotional efforts achieve sales objectives, and are in line with brand attributes, catalog, brick & mortar merchandising, external site partners and other marketing/advertising initiatives. -Requests and coordinates all graphics needs with Web Graphic Designers. -Assists other departments in the implementation of new functionality as it pertains to the changing market trends of Digital Content, Merchandising, SEO and Social Media platforms. -Participates in brainstorming meetings with eCommerce Marketing Managers, Category Managers, Graphic Artists, Digital Content Coordinators, and SEO Specialists to define merchandising tactics and promotions while keeping current with SEO guidelines. -Works closely with Marketing Analysts and Consumer Insights to analyze session and sales data to help define the optimal content for each site. -Participates in A/B testing, multi-variant testing, and User Testing to support deployment of new features, migration to new platform, and bug fixes. QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for an internship with Footlocker/Eastbay, individuals must:
-Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2019 graduate -Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary. -Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week).
