Purpose The Manager, Data Governance is the product owner in the Data CoE and is responsible for the quality and strategic impact of data efforts and initiatives that impact adidas NAM. Partners with IT and cross-functional teams to define a robust product backlog, managing capability expansion increments and leading the team towards new functionalities & best practice definitions. Cooperate with various internal stakeholders to drive the Data CoE strategy and activities within the Data Governance & Strategy Operation Model. Key Accountabilities Demand Management Prioritize items in product backlog Own the refinement of product backlog to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by the team, in line with the definition-of-done Align with the IT team to manage the demand coming from the business and business needs Stakeholder Management Represent the business for the product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the demand management process Monitoring Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product Use data sources and feedback loops to ensure the team focuses on the right enhancements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Attention to detail and strong listening skills in order to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project from business stakeholders Proven ability to develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders as well as other team members Proven experience tracking project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term goals Ability to manage project risk through identifying mitigation strategies and executions Understanding of how to meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis Ability to create use cases or MVPs (most viable product) with stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in MIS, Business Management, or related experiences 2-5 years' experience in project management Familiarity with SmartSheet, JIRA, and Confluence software's collaboration and time management tools Experience with process improvement and inventory control Advanced time management and analytical skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent client-facing communication skills Understanding of Agile and SCRUM methodologies
