The Director of Suite Sales will oversee all initiatives related to the sales and retention of luxury suites and Champions Club. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for all revenue generation through Luxury suite contracts and Champions Club and work closely with the Director of Group Sales on Party Suite sales. -Provide overall leadership for the Suite Sales initiatives, with emphasis on sales and renewal efforts for Luxury Suites & Champion Club seats. -Set strategy for suite contract renewal and Champions Club member renewal. -Establish and monitor sales and renewals goals for Suite Sales Account Executives. -Create and oversee the commission and incentive structure as well as the operating budget for the Suite Sales Department, including individual and department revenue goals. -Maintain accountability/responsibility for expense budget and revenue goals. -Provide leadership to Suite Sales Account Executives, including development and coaching of account executives. -Oversee implementation of Suite Holder events and programs which add value to Suite Ownership. -Build long lasting relationships with suite holders by providing excellent customer service with the goal of maximizing both client satisfaction and business retention. -Make sales calls and set sales appointments with new and existing suite holders. -Create and oversee implementation of benefits for clients. -Ensure organization continues to expand premium offerings and stays current with other MLB Teams and local offerings. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Sports Management or related field. -Minimum of 7 year of Sales experience in sports/entertainment with experience in premium or suite sales preferred. -Prior management/supervisory experience required. -Must possess negotiation and management skills with proven success at obtaining set objectives. -Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and writing skills required. -Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
