The Business Growth Manager (BGM) is a full-time job reporting to our experienced Vice President/GM of NYC. The BGM will have complete accountability to grow her/his portfolio on the sales/strategic growth side of the business, while receiving direct operational support from the Operations Team, in addition to overall support as part of the greater ZogSports NYC Team. You will learn on the job by running the start-to-finish operations that bring our leagues and activities in NYC to life. You will be well-supported, much appreciated and an integrated team member from day one. Main Responsibilities: -Sales - Networking & prospecting to find new potential teams/players; generate and follow up with leads -Building Relationships - Getting to know customers in-person, over the phone, online, etc. (fully understanding WHY they play - in order to best solve their problems) -Strategic Planning - Understanding of current and potential customers; designing leagues and activities to meet demand -Facility Relationship Management - Establish relationships with current field/gym contacts; Identify additional field/gym needs and improvements in order to go out and obtain permits at new locations -Customer Service - Consistent problem solving with an eye on problem prevention over short term cures -Marketing - Assistance with and creation and execution of marketing tactics (will have the help of the NYC Marketing Manager) IMPORTANT:
-Knowledge of and passion for organized sports and interest in participating in recreational sports leagues -Ability to work nights and weekends (most hours will fall into the general M-F work week, but additional nights and weekends will be required on occasion) -Interest in working in, and contributing to, a fun/active office environment -Personality -Extrovert, who gets energy from picking up the phone and talking to people -Creative problem solver -Get it done attitude -Desire to always learn and improve -Organizer REQUIRED:
-BA or BS degree; 0-2 years office experience; some sales experience (internships included) -Excellent organization skills and attention to detail -Ability to prioritize multiple projects at one time -Fun on paper and in person - excellent written and oral communication skills -Willing to go above and beyond, especially an understanding and desire to always to improve as a member of the team -Any previous sales and/or management of other people is a plus TO APPLY:
