About Positive Coaching Alliance Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) () is a national nonprofit organization founded at the Stanford University Department of Athletics in 1998. PCA provides training to coaches, parents, youth athletes, and youth sports organization leaders on how to use the youth sports experience to teach young athletes positive character traits and "life lessons" and to develop not only Better Athletes but more importantly Better People! Through partnerships with more than 3,000 schools and youth sports organizations (YSOs), PCA has conducted 18,000+ workshops for leaders, coaches, parents and athletes on using sports to teach life lessons. PCA is headquartered in Mountain View (CA), with Chapters in 18 cities, states and regions. About the Partnership Coordinator - New England Positive Coaching Alliance is seeking a team player to fill the position of Partnership Coordinator for PCA - New England. The Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for administrative work for PCA's New England Chapter. The Partnership Coordinator will report to the Executive Director - New England. This position is temporary and will end on or around 8/31/19 and hours will vary week-to-week (5 - 12 hours/week). Duties & Responsibilities The Partnership Coordinator is responsible for administrative work for PCA's New England Chapter, including but not limited to: - Conduct internet research on a number of topics, including: Youth sports organizations, park and recreation departments, middle/high schools - Development and grant opportunities - Enter data in Salesforce - Update databases in a timely manner with detailed notes - Support social media efforts - Support event planning, execution, and follow-up - Assist in stewardship of donors and partners - Administrative tasks to support the chapter generally Qualifications & Characteristics of Ideal Candidates - Passion for the PCA cause - Desire to learn about non-profit field research - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Team player who works cooperatively with all staff Benefits PCA does not provide benefits for temporary positions unless local law specifies otherwise.
