Active Network is looking for a Content Manager to oversee our team of fast-paced B2B2C content marketers. The Content Manager will lead all content marketing initiatives for both B2B and B2C channels. This includes a content strategy, development, distribution and measurement that drives traffic, engagement, leads and customer retention while maintaining the consistent branding and voice of the brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO, social media, with demonstrated experience using data to drive overall editorial and distribution strategies. This role will work with the B2B Product Marketing, Digital Marketing and B2C Social Marketing team to lead the development and execution of compelling content at the lowest possible cost. Since ACTIVE's content spans a breadth of products and powers experiences across various channels, building relationships and working with stakeholders, partners, vendors is of the essence. Responsibilities: Provide strategic editorial leadership - with particular focus on operational excellence and high degrees of efficiency Work with senior leadership to develop content solutions to meet the needs of the business Work with product marketers, digital marketers, designers, and business partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of editorial products that support our overall business strategy and goals that delight and engage our readers Create compelling content that converts leads, subscribers and drive brand awareness. Curate new and existing content by managing an editorial calendar to optimize the path to conversion. Streamline content categorization, development and governance to ensure consistency in brand voice, style and tone. Communicate and project manage workloads (both internal and external) as well as capabilities to meet different business objectives Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators and maintain a balance of data and editorially driven publishing strategy Skills & Requirements Requirements: BA/BS Degree Required. Graduate degree or MBA preferred 5-7 years of experience managing a successful, digital media business with deep experience in working with and managing in-house and third party editors and enterprise level publishing systems Strong editorial background; meticulous grammar and spelling abilities with knowledge of AP style Understanding of SEO best practices and principles Success in building high-performance teams, motivating and fostering a collaborative, results-driven cross-disciplinary team with a desire to win together Customer-focused mindset and ability to define clear market-driven product requirements informed by extensive data and user testing Must develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with editorial and creative talent internally and externally. Demonstrated ability to juggle scope and resources to meet assigned targets and deadlines consistently.
