Will be responsible for developing marketing, product and brand strategies; understanding external constituents; and effectively driving company and product information in New York City, NY. Will provide team management, including talent development and performance management. Will develop and implement the complete marketing plan for the brand through the utilization of consumer insights, buying patterns, and market demand. Will develop the programs that will maximize the brand's awareness and sales, through the message and media that are meaningful to retailers and consumers. Will develop, direct, and coordinate the complete marketing plan for the brand that drives brand strategies. Will develop and execute seasonal and category marketing programs for the brand. Will lead efforts to engage with the consumer to ensure targeted programs are driving brand strategies. Will direct the execution and support of brand strategy within local markets. Will lead integration across internal teams, such as sports marketing, event marketing, and retail brand marketing to ensure programs are executed per brand direction. Will oversee the interpretation of customer needs, assess requirements, identify solutions and opportunities to non-standard requests, and make adjustments to the brand. Will ensure actions protect company image through defining consistent approaches. Will analyze marketplace, consumers and trends to improve the attractiveness of the brand on a local basis. Will bring consumer and market insights to local markets to ensure product launch success. Will directly supervise 3 to five direct reports. Will engage in 30 percent domestic and international travel.
Education: Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communication. Experience: 2 years of brand marketing experience Skills/Requirements: 1 year of experience: (1) executing brand events to create consumer interest and ensure successful product launches, (2) leading cross functional partners to manage brand projects and timelines, (3) develop cross channel marketing campaigns in the sportswear, footwear, and apparel industry, (4) managing corporate retail and brand marketing strategies, (5) analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to inform business decisions, (6) using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, and (7) digital marketing, including application marketing, social media marketing, and performance marketing.
