1st Shift Maintenance Manager Processed Foods

150K sq.ft. plant, 5 day week, 3-shift, employing 300.
Facilitate and execute proper Mx Planning and Scheduling for the maintenance department in a processed food plant.
Coordinate, develop, and maintain the preventative maintenance program.
This includes scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders as well as scheduling of maintenance
related repairs or minor capital projects conducted by contractors.
Constantly determine a balance of schedule work to satisfy the needs of each of the several plant functions.
Develop and maintenance preventative maintenance check sheets for production and support equipment.
Develop recommendations of operator PMs.
Coordinate development of parts inventory requirements for new equipment.
Develop and maintain a Master Preventative Maintenance Schedule that accommodates production and balances
the work required given available mechanic and contractor resources.
Interface daily with Production Planner/Scheduler to coordinate equipment availability.
Meet weekly with functional managers (safety, production supervisors) to schedule priorities. Negotiate priorities.
Generate various Completed Work Order reports for functional managers.
Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management software, inputs and outputs.
Provide analytical reports to determine excessively high maintenance costs for equipment and other areas.
College degree or equivalent experience.
5-10 years experience in maintenance in a processed foods industry.
5 years supervisory and/or management experience.
2 years purchasing and inventory control responsibility.
Working knowledge of FDA or USDA regulations.
