seeking resumes for the position of Group Sales. Responsibilities
include exceeding group sales goals for Walnut Street Theatre
productions, providing excellent customer service, generating
physical and electronic communications, accurate and timely
reporting and lead generation. Successful candidate must have
strong telephone sales and coordination capabilities. Annual

-Responsible for outbound sales to schools, tour bus operators,
companies, civic, social and religious organizations, community
centers and senior living facilities to purchase group tickets for
Mainstage, studio theatre and kids productions.
-Solicit for and manage partial and full house buy-outs for
-Create partnerships with area attractions hotels and
restaurants to develop and sell group packages.
-Create group leader functions to promote season working with
marketing team and talent when possible.
-Soliciting large database of past group attendees.
-Coordinate group reservations contracts, cover letters,
payments and ticket fulfillment.
-Coordinate special group requests i.e. pre- or post-show
events, backstage tours, room/lobby reception rentals with building
-Tour and Travel liaison - work with CVBs and other
organizations for cross-promotions and regional publicity, attend
meetings and conferences as appropriate.
-Attend trade shows, events and expos to promote Walnut Street
-Develop (with Marketing Director) and maintain marketing
collateral to support sales.
