This position will also participate on various project teams associated with ambulatory, service line, and physician-based strategies. Additionally, this position will play a key role in developing and supporting the health system's initiatives to grow and maintain relationships with regional and other providers as well as supervising the activities of the physician liaisons. This position will support the Trinity Mid-Atlantic Region -Mercy Health System, St. Mary's Medical Center (Langhorne), St. Francis (Delaware). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's required, MBA or MHA preferred. Skills * Proven ability to relate well to staff at all levels of an organization, including outside organizations, particularly staff, executives, Boards at regional providers. * Demonstrated ability to plan, facilitate, and coordinate complex implementation plans with accuracy and efficiency; previous success in a project management role required. * Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and shepard the various resources to produce positive results. Teams include, but would not be limited to, those representing planning, finance, construction, real estate, IT, marketing, communications, operations, nursing, and the medical staff. * Ability to advance initiatives from concept to the ""project approval"" phase through the ""transition-to-operations"" phase while adhering to predetermined deadlines. * Must possess a strong bias for action and the demonstrated ability to advance assigned initiatives to conclusion amid various challenges and obstacles. * Experience with assessing healthcare markets, building relationships with physicians, and identifying opportunities in the marketplace is also necessary. * Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills required. * Proficiency in the use of word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software packages. Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project) highly desirable. Five or more years of progressive health system management experience including planning, finance, project management and transactions.
