Noted U.S. based media technology company disrupting and innovating the way brands reach consumers is seeking a talented Director of Sales to be based in New York City. We seek a "Winning mentality sales executive" who can work with some of the most talented people in the industry today. This is an individual contributor role. As a Consumer Activation Platform empowering brands to turn their prospects and customers into a network of authentic influencers. The Firm's solutions complement a brand's existing marketing, marketing media and social media strategies to produce incremental sales, provide a better product experience, analytic ownership, and foster 1:1 relationships with customers. The Firm is led by a noted group of Executives, Board of Directors and Advisors with proven track records as pioneers in media, advertising, and technology across companies including Disney, Snap, Microsoft, Unilever, CBS, Viacom, and others. We are seeking a honed professional who will compliment these executives with proven sales solutions or media sales abilities and experience directly with clients to include the F1000 and Unicorn Brands. Those with UGC and or Social Media experience will have a special understanding of the firm's success, as noted below. The Firm's solution is sold as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) license plus a cost per view. As annual usage grows we align incentives, squarely with the client's objectives. The Director of Sales will be responsible for generating significant revenue by establishing and growing strategic partnerships with brand clients, like the current clients listed above who want consumers to enjoy participation in innovative, creative and unique programs that have proven efficacy. The ideal Sales Director is a self-starter, extremely dynamic, highly entrepreneurial and well connected within the marketing community. They will have experience working with and securing multi-million dollar and six-figure deals directly with the F1000 and Unicorn brands who want intimate access to their consumers. In the boardroom with a CMO or a brand manager and their creative team at a major automotive or CPG, this sales executive should enjoy selling creative solutions "with real results" that keep brands coming back for increased engagement because they work! Key Responsibilities: -Consistently hit and/or exceed revenue goals and other KPI's. A person who enjoys their clients and offering real proven solutions to influence consumers. -Proactively communicate and strategically respond to marketplace demands by developing a steady pipeline of new business -Leverage existing relationships to maximize both short and long-term revenue opportunities -Navigate direct brand relationships to identify and establish internal champions to achieve "buy-in", which lead to strategic partnerships -Use Salesforce to maintain organization and transparency with other team members -Initially close, then expand business within a brand to achieve enterprise status across multiple product lines. Should feel comfortable with CMO's, Brand Managers and Creatives at the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicron Brands -Champion the Firm's mission as a Consumer Activation Platform and leader in the new User-Generated Advertising category within the industry and at related functions Qualifications -7-10 years of media sales, strategic partnerships or business development experience. Exposure to Social Media, C2C or Consumer Generated Content a plus, as is SaaS a plus. -Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue goals and developing large-scale partnerships with the Fortune 50-1000 and Unicorn brands - CONSUMER BRANDS -A person who feels comfortable in the boardroom with a CMO of an automotive; the brand managers at CPG's and all the senior executives and brand managers of the Fortune 1000 and Unicorn Brands who want to engage consumers and build brand loyalty and awareness, with proven results. -3-5 years of closing deals at all levels of direct consumer brand clients -Experience introducing new products/marketing concepts to marketers, creatives, brand managers and or CMO's at consumer brands -Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close new business and enhance relationships as they grow with consumer brands -Exceptional current consumer brand client relationships to work with brand managers or in the executive suite of a Fortune 1000. -A significant desire to win at all costs knowing that you offer proven efficacy and turn-key solutions that other CONSUME BRANDS of the Fortune 50-1000 & Unicorn Brands are enjoying -Familiar with social media platforms and how CONSUMER brands use them is a big plus. -Exposure to selling SaaS and or SaaS solutions is a plus, but not required. -Knowledge of Consumer Activation and or User Generated Content highly desired for consumer brands -A person who is dedicated and wants to be mentored by noted industry executives and is prepared for rapid career and financial growth will enjoy the Firm's culture and leadership.
