This position will be located in San Diego, CA. This position will report directly to the Triton Chief Engineer and support all phases of the program lifecycle. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Essential Functions: * Serve as the chairperson of the Technical Review Board (TRB) and as a key member of the program Change Control Board (CCB) * Ensures that the program is adhering to sound engineering processes in the development, production, test and sustainment of products for our customers * Ensures that the program is compliant with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. * Continually coordinates with the systems engineering and program integration team (PIT) leaders to ensure the execution of program statement of work is consistent with the technical baseline * Applies excellent 2-way communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management, and customers * Support the Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) Management Team by ensure overarching software to hardware compatibility of the Triton Program * Drive commonality of tools, models, policies, processes and procedures. * Responsible for oversight of software processes and metrics across all Northrop Grumman Triton developed software. * Ensure vertical and horizontal integration across the program teams with respect to managing software and hardware compatibility and changes and elevating change requirement when change may impact other Autonomous Systems Division programs SITEAS Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university * Must have at least 9 years of experience in Engineering or 7 years of experience and a Master's Degree or 4 years of experience and a PhD. * Experienced in systems or subsystems engineering for a unmanned air vehicle system * Hands on experience working integration and test, or flight test portion of an air vehicle system * An active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance * The ability to obtain program access Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree * Mission Knowledge of ISR systems and data products * Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance * Experience in a lead role in a technical engineering capacity Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
