The Clinical Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership to a team of therapists at the Outpatient Wellness Clinic. The Clinical Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth clinical operations, contributing to the development of the clinical program, and oversight of clinical documentation quality and compliance. The Clinical Manager carries a modified caseload to complete initial assessments and provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
Completes initial assessments and provide individual, family and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Case management services provided as needed. 50%
Management of therapists 15%
Ensures smooth clinical operations on a day to day basis, including crisis management, quality and safety 10%
Development of the clinical program 10%
Oversight of clinical documentation and quality and safety to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards 10%
Other duties as assigned 5%
Strong knowledge of psychological disorders, abnormal psychology and therapeutic modalities and interventions
Experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family therapy, and supportive therapy
Experience in supervising a clinical team
Skilled in clinical documentation review
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with an electronic medical record
Master's degree in counseling, social work or marriage and family therapy
5-10 years' experience in behavioral health social work
1-3 years of supervisory experience
Current clinical Maryland licensure
Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Maryland preferred
