Here is the details of the different areas of nursing care:
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Behavioral Health Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of evidenced based nursing practice guidelines.
In addition to basic nursing care, responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Nurse include, but are not limited to, completes physical and mental health assessments, develops care plans for the patients, helping them be as independent as possible, reports behavioral changes, helps patients improve their coping abilities and meet goals, and records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
The Emergency Department (ED) RN provides professional nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization to the patients admitted to the Emergency Department and throughout the facility as necessary.
They assess and document various clinical conditions and vital signs of the patient.
The RN administers prescribed medications and records changes and responses of the patient.
The ED RN will maintain skills and knowledge of various medical devices including, but not limited to cardiac monitors, vital signs machines, defibrillators, IV pumps, rapid infusers, Bair Huggers, and patient gurneys.
The ED RN assists physicians in various medical procedures as necessary.
The ED RN will educate patients and families as necessary. The ED RN will maintain compliance with all policies and protocols of the hospital.
The Registered Nurse for Critical Care Unit provides direct high-level nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
The RN is responsible for monitoring life support equipment, attending to wounds, responding to changing patient conditions and providing advanced life support.
The Registered Nurse for Med/Surge provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization, physicians treatment plans and standards of evidence based practice/care.
In doing so, assesses patients condition, plans patient care, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatment, provides appropriate patient education, and evaluates patients progress, records pertinent observations and reports responses to drugs and treatments.
Assists with examination and prepares instruments and equipment. Advocates for patient in order to achieve the best possible outcome.
RN degree required.
Current RN License in the State of Wyoming or equivalent Compact License.
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Each specific area will require additional certification and experience.
The ED area will need:
ACLS Current or within 90 days of hire
PALS current or within 90 days of hire
TNCC current or within 6 months of hire
2+ years of Emergency Room experience preferred
The Critical Care area will need:
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS or ENPC certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
2+ years Critical Care experience preferred.
The Med/Surge area will need:
ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire
2+ years Acute Care experience preferred
Looking for RNs for ED, ICU, Med/Surg and Behavioral Health.
Openings available on both day and night shift(7am-7pm, 7pm-7am). First person in will get choice.
The departments have a stable permanent senior leadership team.
The departments over a high culture of safety and engagement scores
If person works afternoons/nights there is shift differntial of $1hr from 3-11pm, $2hr from 11pm-7am.
Facility is offering a sign-on bonus and a retention bonus as well.
The facility will offer a range depending on experience and the range is $27hr-$37hr
They offer great benefits package that includes relocation and temp housing allowance of $1600.
