If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.
Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing structured treatment of patients. Provides group and/or individual programs to a variety of diagnoses and presenting symptoms.
Collects/interprets diagnostic data and its clinical relevance when making assessments, while considering current presentation and past medical/clinical history.
Demonstrates proficiency in performing patient assessment, development of treatment plans, and patient specific goals.
Supervises and directs patient treatment activities of SLP/CFYs and/or students.
Initiates patient care activities in reasonable/timely manner and strictly adheres to department guidelines regarding a patients treatment schedule.
Ensures patient charges are accurately captured and submitted within 24 hours of treatment.
Completes program specialist competency/checklist of expectations, as appropriate to current position. (In-Patient only)
Completes annual competencies as appropriate to position including age specific competencies.
Completes documentation that is accurate, complete, timely, legible, and consistent with department documentation policies and regulatory agencies.
Demonstrates willingness and competency to be cross-trained as appropriate to credentials, licensure, and scope of practice and department need.
Assists with orientation of new staff and/or students.
Completion of an accredited school of Speech Pathology.
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or licensed Speech Therapist, from an accredited school of Speech Pathology.
Current Ohio license and certificate of Clinical Competence.
Minimum of one clinical rotation in a Rehabilitation Services setting (e.g., Acute Rehab, SNF, Acute Medical, Outpatient, Home Health).
Valid drivers license and proof of auto liability insurance (HomeCare).
Position is for an Outpatient Speech Therapist. Person will work 32hrs a week with eligibility for full benefits.
Monday - Friday day shift with at least one later start time (10:30am-7pm). No major holidays worked; no on-call requirements
Population will include both Pediatrics & Adults.
Will work in 4 locations all within an easy commute; can also cross-train to inpatient if interested.

The hospital will offer an hourly range between $22.94-38.90hr depending on experience and a great benefit package.
