Our client is looking for Azure consultants to join their project teams. This role will be based around the New York area. They are looking for a candidate who will be able to provide technical support in upgrading and migrating web applications between data centres.
Our client is looking for Azure consultants to join their project teams. This role will be based in the New York area. They are looking for a candidate who will be able to walk clients through a design to decide on their cloud architecture. But equally able to talk about cloud to C-level and able to delve technically deeper.
The role is for a cloud architect/engineer to focus on design and build functions. They must be able to articulate cloud solutions to clients, discussing options, pros and cons and suitability of both cloud platforms and service architectures. You must understand security architecture and be able to allow the existing security solutions to use logging, monitoring and auditing solutions
10 years + of job experience
UNIX administration, including RHEL 5 onwards or Windows Server administration
Scripting and programming knowledge: shell, PowerShell, java, python or ruby
Understanding of AD-based Identity Access Management including account and role separation for integration and/or federation with Azure AD.
Familiarity with container platforms like Docker, Mesosphere and schedulers like Kubernetes or Swarm. Understanding of serverless platforms like Azure Functions.
Understanding of Azure cloud services and can articulate when to use them and how best to design them.
Good understanding of application architectures appropriate for cloud scale and resiliency
Good understanding of networking principles
Good communications skills both verbal and written
MCSA or MCSE certification
