Job Description

This position will provide analytical support related to the development of the University's multi-year financial plan, operating and capital budgets, and assessments of financial operations.

  • Monitor all fiscal activity (revenues, expenses, gifts, and grants) including directing the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of departmental budgets.
  • Ensure compliance will all university, regulatory, fiscal, and reporting requirements.
  • Resolve operating problems and develop, recommend, and implement administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quarterly budget variance reports, discuss, and distribute.
  • Create and maintain reports in CORE, Hyperion, and PeopleSoft to complete reports and special projects.
  • Participate in the development of strategy, long range plans, and financial planning. Monitor performance against plan.
  • Collaborate and work with other units across campus.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
A master's degree is preferred

PeopleSoft and Hyperion experience

A bachelor's degree in business administration or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
