AWS Cloud security specialist

You will work within the security team and work closely with the cloud infrastructure team to build scalable cloud native security services, to ensure expanding AWS and Kubernetes platforms are kept secure.
As part of an ambitious team, you'll be given hands on exposure to the latest technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Vault amongst others) and practices and entrusted with crucial responsibilities and decisions, playing a key part in securing products.

Location: 100% Remote.
Salary: £90,000+ excellent benefits.

In this role you will:
Provide security expertise and guidance on cloud infrastructure.
Work with engineering teams to design, build and maintain security services, hardening the security of my client's platform.
Build, improve and drive security monitoring and security automation.
Pro-actively identify security weaknesses within systems.
Help manage the day-to-day operations of security services

My client is looking for people who:
Demonstrate good knowledge of AWS services and security tools and services.
Hands on experience with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform.
Have experience programming in either Python, Go or Rust.
Can show a good understanding of the common vulnerabilities affecting modern environments.
Have an automation first approach to security, from development to operation.
Are able to collaborate effectively with colleagues in other engineering teams
Can come up with innovative ideas and solutions to common problems
