OneDrive/SharePoint Engineer - Migration

OneDrive/SharePoint Engineer - Migration - Remote contract (witin EU or Switzerland) vacancy requiring profound OneDrive knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Defining and scheduling migration batches
• Monitoring and checking personal data migrations along with resolving defects, which occur as a result of the migration process
• Reviewing and performing manual migrations of home drives to OneDrive for business as needed paired with working directly with users, ensuring the requirements are met for migration
• Working and operating the migrations tools like SharePoint Migration Tool, Migration Manager or PowerShell scripts together with existing codebase to execute migrations
• Consulting with internal customers on the use of Microsoft 365 services in the area of content management
• Assisting the migration of SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of work experience in the SharePoint engineering or administration field
• Familiarity and solid understanding of how to manage SharePoint sites, content, permissions along with how these operate at a technical level
• Expertise with PowerShell and agile or scrum working methodologies is advantageous
• Fluent English skills, verbally and written
