On behalf of our client, a global leading business & technology transformation company, we are looking for a successful candidate who has a technical background with experience in manufacturing/logistics with SAP EWM knowledge. The person is extroverted, has very good communication skills, is able to work under pressure and is analytical and detail oriented.

General Information:

• Start date: ASAP
• Latest possible start date: 01.08.2022
• End date: 12 months

Extension: possible

• Place of work: Basel
• Workload: 100%
• Remote/Home Office: currently possible, later on-site work will be required
• Picket duty: willingness to work on-call outside regular working hours

Duties & Responsibilities:

• First level support and ensuring the availability of the application (LAURA application).
• Ensuring the availability and functionality of the application/processes as an interface between the operational business units and the technical service providers
• Incident management in first level support (hotline) with coordination of incident handling between the relevant stakeholders (business process owners, customers, IT, QA, software suppliers, hardware suppliers etc.)
• Monitoring of recurring incidents and initiation of countermeasures (problem management)
• Supervision/control/monitoring of system-relevant processes and procedures
• Communication with users via telephone, chat, e-mail within the scope of incident and problem management
• Request management with the tasks of a business analyst to coordinate change requests with the operational areas and relevant specialist groups
• Creation, updating and implementation of technical user trainings
• Maintenance of the knowledge database (eg, operating or installation instructions, etc.)
• Support in the implementation of system validation

Must Haves:

• Higher technical diploma/certificate or degree in logistics or an IT field (eg, logistics master or computer science)
• 2-5 years hands-on work experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
• 2 years working experience in first level support in a technical environment with applications (eg, hotline)
• Good experience in (pharmaceutical) logistics and/or IT environment
• Fluent German and good English skills (min. B2 level)
• Quick grasp of issues in a technically complex environment

Nice to haves:

• Experience in a regulated (GMP) environment is an advantage
