Software Account Manager/Client Product Lead - Leatherhead/WFH

£30,000 - £45,000, plus excellent benefits package/Leatherhead, Surrey

This is an exciting opportunity for a real team player to help shape our industry leading marketing platform, used by top automotive brands.

Acting as a key point of contact, you will build client relationships that help strengthen long-term partnerships and drive the future development of our platform. Communicating effectively with key stakeholders and our technical team you will ensure that every client receives a best-in-class service.

Notes - this role could be titled a number of positions and these include:

  • Account Manager.
  • Product Manager.
  • SaaS Product Lead.
  • Business Relationship Manager.
  • Client Business Partner.
  • SME or Technical Lead.

Core skills for the Software Account Manager/Client Product Lead position:

  • Software Development Life Cycle experience, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Experience selling/promoting (this isn't a sales role though)a software platform with the ability to quickly become a product expert.
  • Experience creating proposals for clients, identifying potential revenue streams and developing strategies for increasing sales.
  • Not essential - Understanding of Automotive marketing, and in particular, knowledge of the way manufacturers work with and support their dealer networks will allow you to get onboard that much quicker.

Key responsibilities for the Software Account Manager/Client Product Lead:

  • Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and how our software can help them.
  • Developing strategies to increase sales of existing products.
  • Negotiating contract terms with clients.
    • Being first point of contact of technical support for our software products, including
    • Troubleshooting bugs or issues with existing features.
    • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
    • Pulling together Monthly information, to support the team with reporting requirements.
