For one of our clients in the banking industry we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst TOM

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 4 months with good possibilities of an extension
Location: Zurich (WFH within Switzerland is possible)

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understanding of relevant policies and their impact on the operating model
  • Review and understanding of relevant resources (processes, procedures, controls, etc.) and their applicability for corporate licenses
  • Consultation of teams responsible for the maintenance of legal entity information
  • Drafting the target operating model including all aspects as laid out in the previous section
  • Organize review and syndication sessions
  • Work out the details and document all operating model aspects
  • Understanding the functionality of the central repository tool for corporate licenses
  • Propose amendments/enhancements to the tool, if applicable

Essential Skills

  • A University degree or an equivalent education in Economics, Banking, or Business Administration related fields
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven relevant professional experience, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, ability to analyze and explain complex information, identify gaps, and define next steps
  • Experience in analysing business processes, systems, and workflows, as well as in elaborating target operating models, documenting processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, with the ability to prepare presentations and analysis to a high standard
  • High sense of responsibility, result oriented, and independent working practice, showing initiative and high level of reliability, delivering on time, with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and quality standards
  • An understanding of financial products and transaction types is an advantage as well as knowledge of banking processes, in particular with respect to compliance functions
  • Positive minded and flexible individual, with a can-do attitude
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English

Desired skills

  • German is an advantage
  • Experience in defining business requirements towards IT solutions is an asset
