My client is a very well established, successful, multi-award winning, Directly Authorised, Wealth Management practice. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele, operating within a non-sales focused, high client service, advice based culture.

The firms clients are both UK and internationally based, they are most frequently of a HNW nature.

The company are currently looking for a Mortgage Administration Team Manager (mainly Residential and BTL focused cases) to join their established team based within their Central London office. The option to work from home on one day per week is available.

The working hours within this position are Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 17:30pm, Friday from 8:30am to 17:00pm, with the last Friday of each month being from 8:30am to 16:00pm.

Key responsibilities:

Job activities will include:

* Supporting the firms IFA’s in relation to Mortgage Advice administration support.

* Managing a team of Mortgage Administrators and their workload on a daily basis.

* Annual reviews and regular catch ups with the Mortgage Administrator’s.

* Recording and managing holidays, sickness and lateness of the team.

* Liaising with the firms compliance department and the mortgage team to ensure that compliance is up to date.

* Assisting with regular compliance reviews.

* Picking up adhoc admin work such as creating invoices.

* Assisting the firms IFA’s with suitability letters where applicable.

* Input of mortgage applications where required.

* Ensuring MI up to date.

* Helping to build relations with introducer referrals.

* Attending introducer events.

Key candidate attributes:

* Strong Mortgage Administration experience gained within the independent market, ensuring that you are familiar with multiple lenders mortgage products and online portals/platforms.

* Team management experience (preferably within the mortgage industry, although management experience gained within other industries will also be considered).

* Confident in communicating with clients, lenders, and introducer professionals face to face, by telephone and in written form.

* Must demonstrate technical ability and be confident with mortgage & protection terminology.

* An understanding of lending for self-employed clients/business owners.

* A good knowledge of compliance requirements.

* Must be able to demonstrate initiative and ability to time manage.

* Adaptability.

* Desire to progress in a professional and growing business.

The successful candidate will receive a very competitive basic salary of between £35,000 and £45,000 which is negotiable based on skill-set/ability/role experience. Benefits include a pension scheme and a Bupa healthcare scheme.
