Job Description
Postdoctoral Research Associate position in RNA Biology is available immediately in the laboratory of Professor Eriks Rozners at the Department of Chemistry, Binghamton University to work on grants from the National Institutes of Health. The initial appointments will for one year and may be renewable for several additional years.

We are looking for Postdoctoral Research Associates who are experts in RNA biochemistry or molecular biology (experience with reverse genomics is a plus). The Postdoctoral Research Associates will join interdisciplinary projects focused on optimization of RNA interference and CRISPR efficiency using chemically modified RNAs and discovery of new peptide nucleic acid (PNA) derivatives for chemical control of complex RNA molecules, involving SARS-CoV-2 RNA. The projects involve collaborations with synthetic chemists, structural biochemists, and RNA biologists at Binghamton and other institutions. Job Requirements
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or related field and experience in the field of nucleic acids. The positions are available immediately and will remain open until filled.
