My client is a property management company with a portfolio of commercial and residential properties.

As a Property Administrator you will be responsible for assisting with the secretarial and administration functions for the team. You will work alongside the Managing director, Head of Estate Management and Directors.

As a Property Administrator your job will include:

* The administration of the correspondence for the office including typing reports, letters and accounts, necessary photocopying and any similar tasks.

* Applying for any references or credit checks in relation to any prospective or existing tenant as required by and in liaison with the Director and Estate Manager.

* Maintaining a system for and recording all notes taken by the Estate Manager.

* Dealing with telephone enquiries and handling messages in a courteous and efficient manner.

* Liaising with external management companies in relation to any items of works, repairs or any other issue.

* Providing the Purchase Ledger Administrator/ Sales Ledger Administrator with all documentation and details required in relation any new tenancy, tenancy renewal or tenancy determination to allow them to update the property management software.

* Assistance to other members of the team when required.

* General office management and facilities duties.

* Involvement in various project tasks across the business.

As a Property Administrator you will have the following skills:

* 1+ years’ experience within an administrative/office management position

* Familiarity and understanding of the property industry

* Ability to work well within a team framework

* Great communication skills

* Motivated and keen to learn
