What do you need to succeed?
- 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working in a full-stack capacity.
- Proven experience with large-scale high-quality software.
- Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent relationship and people skills with the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills with a proven track of achievements and innovation.
Tech Stack:
Advanced knowledge of Java technologies and tools:
- Java, JavaEE, JMs, JPA, JSP and JavaScript.
- Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, Spring Security and Spring Web Service
Experience working with:
- Web Service Security
- XML/XSL/XSD
- Eclipselink JPA
- SQL/Oracle databases
- Oracle Weblogic
- JUnit & similar test frameworks
- Code repositories tools such as SVN/GIT
- Build Automation, monitoring, quality tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Sonarcube
- BRE - Business Rules Engine experience a plus
You will be responsible for:
- Be able to provide technical guidance and leadership in development activities and software design.
- Work across architects, business analysts, testers and business users to analyse and document requirements and problems, identifying options and end to end solutions.
- Develop detailed knowledge of the functional and technical components of the system and be able to prepare technical specifications for system enhancements.
- Provide advice and coaching to support and develop software engineers when required.
- Drive the mindset of continuous improvement - participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure delivery of high-quality products.
