What do you need to succeed?

• 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working in a full-stack capacity.
• Proven experience with large-scale high-quality software.
• Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent relationship and people skills with the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills with a proven track of achievements and innovation.

Tech Stack:

Advanced knowledge of Java technologies and tools:

• Java, JavaEE, JMs, JPA, JSP and JavaScript.
• Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, Spring Security and Spring Web Service

Experience working with:

• Web Service Security
• XML/XSL/XSD
• Eclipselink JPA
• SQL/Oracle databases
• Oracle Weblogic
• JUnit & similar test frameworks
• Code repositories tools such as SVN/GIT
• Build Automation, monitoring, quality tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Sonarcube
• BRE - Business Rules Engine experience a plus

You will be responsible for:

• Be able to provide technical guidance and leadership in development activities and software design.
• Work across architects, business analysts, testers and business users to analyse and document requirements and problems, identifying options and end to end solutions.
• Develop detailed knowledge of the functional and technical components of the system and be able to prepare technical specifications for system enhancements.
• Provide advice and coaching to support and develop software engineers when required.
• Drive the mindset of continuous improvement - participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure delivery of high-quality products.
