Essel is growing and our ability to handle urgent large-scale project hiring is crucial. We are looking for a versatile and proven recruiter who is up for the challenge.
Previous experience recruiting Construction Project Personnel and/or large scale Emergency/Disaster Response Recruiting is required.
Job Summary:
In this role you will develop and implement creative and effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for Essel. You will focus on developing a consistently growing pipeline of qualified candidates with various skill sets as well as pivoting to urgent needs when they arise.
You will also be responsible for regular communication with employees to ensure daily attendance, weekly timesheet approval and other related administrative needs.
Must be available to work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain pipeline of eligible candidates for current and future positions
Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process as well as assisting with onboarding.
Assists with job postings and community outreach.
Source candidates creatively, through social media, referrals and networking
Oversees the interview process, screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
Arranges background checks, drug screens, medical exams and logistics for employees
Ensures candidates meet all compliance requirements
Assists with timesheets and employee needs
Attends and participates in local hiring events, college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Meet or exceed weekly recruiting goals

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to create and implement high-volume sourcing strategies for a variety of professional and skilled labor roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Professional communication, follow up and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and other related software.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of high volume recruiting experience
AA or B.A. Degree strongly preferred
