Job Summary:
Amentum is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to support an IT Managed Services program for the Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS).
In this role, you will be a part of the Mission Solutions and Design department. This department exists to work with internal/external customers to design, develop and deploy software systems to national security missions. To be successful in this role, you will have a wide range of development environments including .NET, J2EE, C/C++, Python and JavaScript. Additionally, you will have knowledge of distributed and parallel computing and of network protocols and network management technologies. You will also have familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, and platform-as-a-service technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
As a member of the team, you will:
Manage large and complex projects.
Oversee scope, cost and schedule of projects.
Lead and implement large technical solutions.
Analyze new and complex project-related issues and create innovative solutions to resolve issues.
Provide application systems analysis for long and short term plans for application selection, systems development, and production support activities.
Schedule and participate in all status/team meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and 9 years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and 13 years of experience.
Must possess a TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI) or DOE Q/SCI clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract.
Prior experience working with managing test plans in an application development environment.
Experience with overseeing scope, cost and schedule of applications.
