Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Business Lead

A prestigious fortune 500 company is on the search for an Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Business Lead. This role is revolved round data governance, data management, data stewardship, data domain and Meta data management.

Responsibilities:

• Managing data-related risks across Companies' functions
• Influencing and partnering with Divisions to help them mature their data management programs
• Support the establishment of the conceptual data model within our Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) organization
• Understand the data sources and critical data uses for a data domain
• Establish framework for good data domain management
• Perform root-cause analysis to understand the drivers of data challenges, work with partners to develop requirements and/or propose solutions, and build and manage to plans to close gaps
• Work with data owners to ensure appropriate data management practices are implemented and matured including data quality monitoring, metadata management, data issue management, and data change management
• While this role is an individual contributor, there is potential to manage a small team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 8-10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: BCBS 239 implementation, data governance, data stewardship, data domain establishment/management, master data management, data and metadata management, or data platform ownership
• Experience with influencing others and bringing people together towards a common goal
• Communicate and present to senior management; ability to operate at a strategic level to assess the maturity of the organization and to be a change agent
• Experience managing and leading programs or projects
