Senior Facilities and Contract Coordinator
Salary: Up to £28,500 depending on experience Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Location: Green Lane, Walsall
At South Staffs Water we deliver clean and reliable water supplies to around 1.5 million customers within the South Staffs and Cambridge regions.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Facilities and Contact Coordinator, to join our facilities department, this role will be looking after the Facilities Coordinators for South Staffs and Cambridge Water. This is an exciting new role within the department due to growth within the business.
The Facilities Department cover South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water ensuring all regulatory and legal compliance requirements are met, monitored, and updated. Managing and maintaining the condition of the buildings and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
Facilities cover a wide and varied range of assets within the business, this role will require a good understanding of Facilities Management and experience working in a fast-paced facilities department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining Legal compliance within the Facilities Department • Managing our Door Access and Security Contract • Lift servicing, remedials and inspections • Maintaining on site generators and servicing • Gas Servicing within both regions • HVAC Maintenance • Fire Risk and General Risk Assessments • Act as a point of contact for group companies on regional water sites including any non-group companies where we act as their legal landlord • Arrange required regional surveys, quotes and works • Manage service and maintenance contracts and contractors; including helping establish KPI, processing renewals
The successful candidate will have a full driving license, be educated preferably to GCSE grade C/Level 4 equivalent or above, Experience of working in a busy Facilities department, IOSH in Managing Safely, NEBOSH Desirable but not essential, National Water Hygiene desirable, Fire Marshall trained desirable, First Aid trained desirable
