This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic data migration consultancy based in Watford, Hertfordshire, operating a hybrid flexible working model. We are looking for a permanent experienced Data Analyst who will be critical to this fast-growing company's success in delivering large scale data integrations and migrations in the cloud.
The role may require remote and onsite working depending on each customer's needs. It will include Data Profiling, Datamodelling, Data Quality Analysis and source to target mapping. The successful candidate would be expected to ensure Data Models inform the migration logic and rules are created or refreshed and Data Dictionaries are created which complement the Data Models and provide essential input for transformation and mapping, highlighting any Data Quality issues.
You will liaise with technical stakeholders as necessary and provide assurance that the implementation and testing of migration products meets the customers data requirements.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with clients from user to senior level along with technical ability and previous data analysis experience. Experience of selecting, acquiring, and integrating data for analysis.
Excellent knowledge of data manipulation within Excel.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
A methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.
SQL (Oracle, Microsoft and/or T-SQL).
Knowledge of SQL Server and ODBC.
Other coding skills.
Knowledge of data presentation tools such as Power BI.
Knowledge of project methodologies such as Prince 2, Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
Previous experience working within UK police forces or other law enforcement agencies.
Security Clearance is required to SC level, you must be willing to undergo clearance as part of the recruitment process. Five years' residency in the UK is a mandatory requirement of security clearance, as is ownership of a passport.
