Senior Software Engineer - Netherlands/Remote
Cititec is partnering with one of Europe's leading online retailers to assist source for a Senior Software Engineer! This Berlin-based company assists leading brands with the delivery of an amazing shopping experience through its mobile-first, modular cloud platform.
As an Engineer in the Data Platform Team, you will contribute to the architecture and development of maintainable and scalable systems to power data processing. This role will see you working in close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers.
The ideal skill set for this role is expertise in Java/Scala and Back End microservices architecture, experience in CI/CD, AWS, Kafka, and Akka, as well as a demonstrated ability to work with event streaming technologies in production environments. Above and beyond the technical requirements, familiarity with agile practices and DevOps culture, excellent communication, and strong leadership will be to your advantage.
