3D Material Artist - Freelance - Long-term

We currently looking for a 3D Material Artist to join an international fashion client of ours!

This role is focusing on the 3D Material development process, oversees and drives the work of developing the end-to-end flow of events.

Whats expected from you?

  • Be in the forefront of identifying future needs, explore and research different solutions around Materials/Fabrics development.
  • Create and explore methods of digitizing complex and advanced categories of Materials for Clo3D and other 3D Product Creation tools
  • Work closely with selected stakeholders to secure the needs and be updated prioritizations from the Business

What are the requirements of the 3D Material Artist role?

  • Experience in 3D Material creation and development
  • Strong experience in working with Substance for Material/Fabric creation
  • Understanding of the fabrics digitizing process
  • Prior experience of digitizing Fabrics (scanning + physics properties + postprocessing) for Clo3D or similar Cloth simulation software
  • Understanding of PBR workflow
  • Experience in Shader creation
