Test Manager - German Language Essential

The Test Manager will coordinate the testing between the banks and our team. Assure that all the right tests are executed in a timely and correct manner and that the expectations of the customers are managed. Next to that the test coordinator will also execute tests him/herself together with another test engineer. It is important to have a good view of the business and the technical side in order to provide the correct feedback, planning and estimation to our customers

Main activities

  • Define the test strategy

  • Plan, lead, follow-up and coach the test resources assigned on the project

  • Closely collaborate with development teams and project managers, sometimes in international context

  • Respect allowed budget and committed achievements

  • Follow blocking issues

  • Propose workarounds to speed-up execution of the tests.

  • Write audit reports, including risks assessment

  • Validate the test-scripts written by Application Testers and the test results

  • Ensure the end-to-end test coverage

Working environment

  • You will be working in highly motivated teams speaking a mix of European languages. In the Testing Team we're responsible for supporting Test activities for our internal and external customers worldwide.

  • The team is mainly located in Switzerland.

  • We strive to help to analyse issues, support certifications and End2End Tests for our clients customers.

  • Our services are not tolerant of downtime, high availability is in our clients DNA.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science or a similar education with focus on IT

  • 3+ years in software testing

  • Experience with defect management tools like JIRA XRAY/HP ALM

  • Good oral and written skills in German and English

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The relentless will to learn new things and continuously improve

  • Agile mindset with strong customer focus

  • Capable of working under pressure with demanding customers

  • Well skilled and highly motivated people
