D365 Lead Engineer - Hybrid working

We have a requirement to increase our client's D365 Lead Design capability within an existing CRM development function as they build upon and enhance their CRM Dynamics solution and integrating it with Digital platforms. The primary function of this role will be to ensure continued delivery of the Microsoft CRM Dynamics (D365) solution, by providing deep knowledge of D365 CRM, Power Platform and D365 mobile - and to work with key stakeholders to ensure the solution continues to deliver business requirements and benefits.

Job Specification

Lead the design and ongoing development of our D365 CRM solution, by collaborating with existing team members, 3rd parties and other internal teams to deliver change via an agile delivery methodology.
Lead the technical delivery of CRM releases, managing solution packages, deployment and owning the branch and merge strategy.
Collaborate with 3rd party service providers, Group IT and business areas to deliver prioritised functional and non-functional change; review new features/updates and assess for impact and benefit across all aspects of the end-to-end solution.
Collaborate with 3rd parties and internal teams to recommend enhancements, designs and improvements to the performance, security and integrity of the CRM application and its data, as further business requirements are identified.
Utilise deep D365 and Power platform knowledge to support the resolution of incidents/problems raised against the CRM service (holding 3rd parties to account, where required), to meet Service Level Agreements within an ITIL Framework.
Working with the Platform Architect, track the Microsoft product roadmap, to ensure ongoing stability and performance of the service, including assessment of benefits to meet business requirements.
Undertake D365 application configuration and administration duties, as required.
Approval and/or maintenance of application/service-related documentation, to ensure consistency and no single-point of expertise
Coach & mentor team members and wider colleagues on the technical skills required to improve their competency & quality
Deliver short term/one off projects as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager
Extensive technical experience with MS D365 (CE) design, development, code management and platform/telemetry monitoring; Microsoft/Azure integration tools, Power Apps, JavaScript, C#, SQL server, the Azure platform.
Significant experience of IT software development and methodologies, within a controls-based framework, including the use of automation and continuous integration tools, such as Microsoft DevOps and Subversion/Jira.
Experience of a fast-paced DevOps environment (agile/scrum delivery) and be flexible in approach to work environment and responsibilities.
The ability to work collaboratively and as a strong team player on a day-to-day basis, but also be able to work individually as required.
Build knowledge, maintain and continuously learn new skills to develop own ability and keep abreast of emerging software, development methods, tools and standards.
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good interpersonal skills, with a pro-active, creative, analytical and enquiring nature
Compliance with team, department and company policy and procedure
ITIL awareness (desirable)

Qualifications/Other Information
Relevant Microsoft technical accreditation/s - CRM D365 development; Azure
An Information Technology related degree, or equivalent industry experience.
Candidates may have to work some weekends and out of hours, on a rota basis.
