We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Architect join the Manchester office of one of UK's leading environment and engineering consultancies. Our client undertakes landscape planning and assessment for a diverse array of development proposals spanning the energy, renewables, property, waste and mining sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and a particular interest in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Main responsibilities will include:
* Participation in the production of landscape outputs for a variety of projects in multiple sectors, including renewables, energy transmission and property in the UK and overseas
* Assist in the undertaking LVIA and landscape assessments for input to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) in support of renewables, energy and minerals applications
* Prepare designs, plans and photomontages using industry standard software
* Assist in other landscape design projects as required
* Liaise with colleagues and clients
The successful candidate should have:
* Relevant degree
* Strong interest in landscape planning, LVIA and EIA
* Ability to work within a team within a multi-disciplinary environment
* Appreciation of industry software such as AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe Suite would be beneficial
* Excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills
* UK driving licence is desirable
