Snr Python Developer - ML exp - Greenfield Portfolio Construction & Optimization - Hedge Fund

My client, a Multi-strategy Hedge Fund, is experiencing rapid expansion globally.

They seek a Senior Software Engineer skilled in Python with expertise in Machine Learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn

You will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of an new suite of X-Asset Portfolio Management tools to support the Equities and Fixed Income desks.

As a Senior Developer you will be tasked with owning relationships with Portfolio Management, Portfolio Finance, Quant Research and Risk Management teams as well as other Application Development groups.

Total Comp. $280k-$330k for 2022

2-3 days WFH

The role will require the full life cycle build of bespoke Portfolio Management tools, apps and APIs inc. but not limited to the following functionality

• Portfolio Optimization
• Portfolio Construction
• Pre and Post trade Analytics (Risk, Scenario Analysis, Valuation)

Skills Required

• Candidates suited to this role will either current be working in a Buy-Side org, Investment Bank or FinTech firm building out similar trading tools and apps
• Academic success in Computer Science/Technology plus expertise Python, including the ML Libs such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn et al
• You will have 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer/Strat/Quant Developer
