A prestigious company is seeking an IT Project Manager with application development experience. This candidate will manage overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership for assigned projects
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Coordinate and manage the holistic Project Lifecycle for assigned projects
• Work closely with the Business and Solution Analysts to define and refine project scope, product/project backlogs and release plans
• Develop detailed work plans including work breakdown structures, project milestones, risk assessment/management plans, staffing needs and project timelines
• Facilitate the identification, scheduling and assignment of project activities, tasks, and milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of overall IT experience with continued growth and skills development
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects
• 3+ years of Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience with both traditional IT development processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience managing projects with a variety of technologies, platforms, and development languages (AS400, Java, .NET, etc.) a plus
• Experience with Atlassian, Jira, Confluence and TFS a plus
