Scrum Master - Agile/Scrum and/or Project Management, migration projects and software development projects

Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a Scrum Master.

The application IRCI hosted on the Chemistry Platform is business critical within the pRED research organization and grown over 2 decades as in-house Java Enterprise development. The IRCI Web user
interface is dependent on Internet Explorer 11. The overall Back End implementation mainly based on Java Enterprise (Oracle WebLogic 12c) and JSP for the UI requires modernization. IRCI used in Small Molecule Research by Scientists to register chemical batches. Many other research applications supporting logistics, ordering, workflows or data analysis are dependent on the data registered in IRCI and on services provided by IRCI and the Chemistry Platform. Provisioning of new modern Web User Interfaces and API's for integration with the application landscape is in the focus of the project.

The perfect candidate: We are looking for a Professional Scrum Master, ideally with a Certificate, who has experience in software development and/or migrations projects. The candidate should be self-organized
and hands-on oriented.

Areas of responsibility:
* Your responsibility is to support the overall project coordination in collaboration with the product owner and project manager
* You support the planning of the deliverables and help to monitor the team performance
* You help the software development teams to apply the Scrum framework
* You manage the Scrum ceremonies (daily, retro, planning, etc.) and agile processes
* You are responsible to setup and manage the tickets in the Jira project
* You ensure that impediments are identified and addressed in the development team
* Ensure good communication with the team members

Professional and technical requirements:
* Min. Bachelor degree in Project Management (or similar) or Scrum Master Certification
* Min. 5+ years' experience of working with Agile/Scrum and/or Project Management methodology in successful global projects ideally in a pharmaceutical environment
* Experienced with migration projects and software development projects
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Experience of leading retrospective formats, and handling changes
* Collaborative, listens and cultivates alignment
* Outstanding communicator - written, verbal, diplomatic, can communicate with different cultures
* Finds ways to work efficiently across the workstreams and is able to connect the dots across

Nice to Haves:
* Previous Pharmaceutical environment experience
* Knowledge of Chemistry would be helpful
* GIT, JIRA, CI/CD, Gitlab
