Application Support Engineer

Application Support Engineer-Strasbourg, France

My client is current looking for a highly skilled Application Support based in Strasbourg, France for a 12-24 month contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on the application support for the client
• Finding the answers in a variety of incidents
• A good problem solver
• Confirming solutions within the team

Technical skills:

• Microservice Architecture experience
• Experience in both Java and JVM
• User experience in either Kubernetes or Openshift
• Practical experience in both Protobuf and gRPC Protocol

Nice to have skills:

• Stream processing framework like Apache Flink
• Apache Kafka:
• Apache ZooKeeper at a beginner level
• Elasticsearch: user experience
• Git or GitHub

Non-technical skills:

• Knowledge on ITIL
• Good communication skills in English
• Positive attitude

Extra:

• EU Secret PSC is required for the function (process will be initiated upon hiring).
