Senior Application Architect

My client is seeking an exciting Senior Application Architect to take ownership in both the design and development on a global project.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Designing and coordinating architecture implementation;
• Defining, assessing and coordinating architecture projects
• Coordinating with other architects within the team
• Delivering high-level and low-level designs;
• Aligning and integrate multiple architectures, layers, and perspectives;
• Advising on architecture frameworks and methods;
• Defining and measuring architecture indicators (maturity, implementation, etc.);

Working Conditions:

• He/she will be based in Zaventem or Luxembourg Office
• He/she will need to travel to Strasbourg to meet the customer twice a month and to Poland (Wroc aw or Bydgoszcz)
  
• 8+ years of professional experience in ICT
• An expert in the Java Development space
• As well, experience in software platforms like Kafka
• Sparx Enterprise Architect tool;
• TOGAF and ArchiMate Certified;
• Strong understanding of development + infrastructure mainly in hardware, cloud, OpenShift, and red hat
• Must be details oriented, analytical, and demonstrate ability to work in multinational environments;
• Must be self-directed with proven ability to make decisions supported by thorough data analysis;
• Good communication skills in English;
• Very good writing skills in English;
• Speaking an additional language, who would be a plus

Education:

• University degree (master or equivalent) in a relevant subject.

Extra:

• EU Secret PSC is required for the function (process will be initiated upon hiring).
