L3 Technical Support Engineer + being the go-to for complex troubleshooting, choice for fully remote


As the Senior T3 Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving extremely important customer issues, whilst also supporting BAU in the Support Operation of the business. Managing internal and external stakeholders, you'll promote the ability of you and your team in resolving extremely challenging issues across the board. Of course, some of the time you will be working as a SME to resolve the more complex issues, but you'll also work as a part of and leading a team of TSEs, ensuring the tickets are being managed adequately and in a timely manner (ensuring SLA performance). You'll be the go-to person for technical expertise and subject matter. Your day starts with ticket management, team leadership and resolution.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

So, here's what I need from you- I need you to have a core 5+ years of experience in a support position. I need you to have worked with Linux environments and have that hands-on technical troubleshooting with customers and internal stakeholders as well. That 5 years of experience can be in a systems admin or a helpdesk type role, but key thing here - is some kind of ticket-handling and queue management systems. Tech wise, I need you to have some exposure to either Storage Array Management, Microsoft Clustering OR Active Directory- you need to be a wizard at one of those three!

Other than that, I need good behavioural fits- that looks like someone who loves learning- you are after all joining a product focused business, you'll need to be into understanding the finer details! You'll need empathy and understanding so you can have highly satisfied customers (int/ext), and you'll need a clear communication ability, written and verbal.
