Azure Data Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to data management functional components such as data ingestion, data harmonization, curation, Datamodelling, sharing and reporting
• Develop metadata driven data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Implement data curation, harmonization and modelling in Azure Databricks
• Provide both (controlled) DWH and Advanced analytics services based on the LakeHouse architecture
• Develop and implement business and data quality rules using Python and SQL
• Support data delivery for business analysts, data scientist and ML/AI experts
• Ability to self-organize and drive the development of Data analytics platform

Technical skills:

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role with experience of Azure Data components eg Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse
• Project experience in developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Experience in developing data flows and data models in Azure Databricks, preferably based on DataVault 2.0
• Conceptual knowledge and experience in one of the Datamodelling techniques such as Data Vault 2.0, 3NF, Dimensional, etc
