Middleware specialist

We are looking for a WebSphere/MQ Specialist for one of the largest business service providers in Amsterdam. Are you an expert in WebSphere Application Server and can you solve complex technical problems?

Responsibilities:

• You independently carry out projects in the field of WebSphere Application Server
• You check the performance of applications and analyse logs and dumps
• You are involved from the design stage, you help to devise and then implement
• You participate in the integration team, in which all disciplines work together

This is an MQ specialist role with Managed File Transfer (MFT) experience.

These are so-called priority 1 applications that relate to international payment transactions and private banking. Incidents must therefore be resolved within 2 hours, but in this role the specialist is mainly concerned with the projects.

There is a close collaboration with the Linux and Windows Engineers, sometimes with Oracle Engineers. The MQ 'club' consists of 3 FTE, which is a good representation of the size within this domain.
