The Role

- Team leader Backend Developer/Backend Engineer with experience in leading teams of experienced developers/engineers using Scala, AKKA-HTTP, Http4s, Cats, Slick & Doobie to build new products and features within their platform.

- Lead and work with an experienced team

- Natural problem solver

- Innovate and develop new ideas

- Make succinct technical decisions effectively with the team and CTO.

Skills & Experience Required

- Outstanding written and spoken skills to deliver through all organisation levels

- Experience leading teams

- Designing, implementing and testing RESTful Scala API's

- Commercial experience with Scala

- Experience with Docker

Desirable Skills

• Integrating with external systems, more specifically payment
• Experience with microservice architecture
