Mentmore is currently recruiting a .NET Developer for a fintech client to be based in either Newcastle or London, working remotely with 1 day a month in the office.
An exciting opportunity to join a company on their hyper growth journey having recently secured another £400 million in investment, it couldn't be a better time to join.
The client is trying to build their new code in .NET core running in Docker containers. New code and test environments are supported with infrastructure as code on (AWS) Amazon Web Services. Existing code base is written predominantly in Microsoft T-SQL with supporting VB.NET and C#.
The .NET Developer needs to have Microsoft stack experience with as the client is looking to change the way their code is executed with SQL on Linux/Containers and .NET Core running in containers.

You should have:
- A passion for creating quality software using the best tools possible
- Experience in first and second line support teams with appropriate documentation
- Experience in enterprise .NET Experience (VB.NET or C#)
- Experience in enterprise Microsoft T-SQL experience (2008 R2+)
- A solid understanding of Agile processes (Scrum specifically)
- Confidence in Git and the Git Flow source control methodology
