Responsibilies:

• Review of the cost drivers of network heritage and Legacy migration strategy
• Document key unit cost drivers in the deployment of network connectivity
• Produce an options paper for accelerating Legacy migration for SLT review including cost/benefit analysis of heritage and Legacy migration and impact assessment of ubiquitous fibre on connectivity cost base.
• Quantify additional funding requirement and the Business Case for acceleration
• Produce an outline cost model that show the different options
• Scope an efficiency programme that reduces the unit cost of network Capex by 20%+
• Identify key efficiency projects with target savings and dates when they will be realised
• Review the connectivity architecture for affordability

Skills and expertise

• 10 Years' experience of Telecoms environment, but 5 years working at the appropriate senior level/exposure will be fine
• Demonstratable experience of delivering CAPEX and OPEX economies across operational networks
• Stakeholder management experience
• Very strong communications skills
